Acclaimed Singer, songwriter, comedian and festival legend Hattie Hatstar performed her multimedia musical comedy show, developed in collaboration with the Solar Cinema Video Crew. A crazy mix of Hatties catchy funny songs, with big screen visual gags, accordion, ukelele and double bass, plus some ridiculous hola hoop stunts.
Films screenings included the Glastonbury Premiere of Nina Paley's Sita Sings the Blues at midnight on Saturday Night. A matinee screening of the award winning independent Documentary Three Miles North of Molkom preceeded the films' release at independent cinemas across the country. Live music and comedy continued with performances from Cosmo and Sleepy Ed Hicks
Early Hours entertainment came in the form of the Solar Cinema Video Cabaret - a fast, funny, original, clever, satirical, eyepopping, foottapping, ribtickling combination of live video remixing, mashups, dance routines, anarchic animations, rare musical clips, short comedies and assorted high quality audio/visual nonsense. "if only TV could be like this. The Groovy Movie Picture House is the best place at Glastonbury" said one satisfied customer.
